Jonabel Russette

Director of Finance & Human Resources

Ms. Jonabel Russette serves as Director of Finance & Human Resources for Altimus Capital group of companies. Ms. Russette is responsible for overseeing the financial activities, treasury management, payroll, HR, and risk management for all portfolio companies. She has 30 years of experience in both leadership and financial roles, which includes a multitude of industries and business sectors, including Business

Sweden, Obama Foundation, Brennan Investment Group, various Pritzker organizations, among others. Ms. Russette received her Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from DePaul University. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Kim Gryzlo

President

Kim Gryzlo was named President of Altimus Capital, LLC in June 2017 and is responsible for the leadership and overall operations of the portfolio companies. She has 30 years of diverse work experience in various leadership positions within sales, finance, and operations. Kim has worked for small to mid-size businesses, private equity-owned portfolio companies, and large Fortune 100 companies including FMC Corporation, Baxter Healthcare, Allegiance Healthcare, and Cardinal Health.

Prior positions held by Kim include various management roles within finance and executive leadership positions as Vice President of Finance and Vice President of Sales and Operations. Kim is recognized for her ability to lead teams, improve operational effectiveness and drive profitable results. Kim received her B.B.A. degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh and her M.B.A. degree in Operations Management from DePaul University.

Christopher Gersch

Founder, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

Christopher Gersch brings 20+ years of professional leadership experience and a dynamic understanding of energy markets to the clean energy industry. He began his career as a trader at the Chicago Board of Trade and then utilized his expertise to form eleven businesses.

As a committed philanthropist and active community leader, he serves on the Executive Board of the Charles Tillman Cornerstone Foundation, is a member of the Board of Directors for Digs With Dignity, sits on the Catholic Covenant Energies Advisory Board, and holds the role of Director at Large for The Energy Professionals Association (TEPA). In addition to his extensive commitment to community engagement and philanthropy, Chris is proud to be recognized as a distinguished member of the National Small Business Association (NSBA) Leadership Council. Leveraging his expertise in business and leadership, he actively contributes to shaping policies and initiatives that support the growth and success of small businesses nationwide.

Chris is an adjunct professor at the University of Chicago, designing and teaching quantitative trading strategies and algorithmic system modeling. He often appears as an expert guest speaker for Schwab Network, CNBC, Bloomberg, CNN, and Fox Business News. In 2023, he was named one of Crain’s Chicago Business’ Notable Leaders in Sustainability. 

Chris earned his Executive MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In addition to his business and engineering expertise, he is a licensed multi-engine commercial pilot with a lifelong passion for aviation.

Collin Ricker

Managing Director

Collin Ricker is a Managing Director at Blox Capital, leading investments in distributed clean-energy infrastructure such as commercial and industrial solar, community solar, battery storage/BESS, and EV charging. Operating within the Altimus Capital family and in close partnership with Verde Solutions, he focuses on capital formation, originating, underwriting, and structuring projects from early-stage development through operations with a pragmatic, execution-first approach.

Collin’s background spans commercial real estate, private equity, and entrepreneurship. He began his career underwriting assets and portfolios, then built a consumer brand as a founder, experience that fused investor discipline with operator empathy. That blend now informs his hands-on, data-driven perspective in energy finance and asset building.

Born in Santa Monica and raised in Manhattan Beach, Collin lived in Denver before settling in Chicago. He contributes to and supports sustainability and community causes, including Sea Trees and Urban Rivers. Collin earned his MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Finance, Economics, and Business Ethics & Legal Studies from the University of Denver. He also holds a CFA Institute Sustainable Investing Certificate.
